KVO cultivators

KVO cultivators are designed for vertical tillage, which facilitates the development of the root system of plants. Verti-till technology prevents wind and water erosion of the soil, and soil decompaction allows to use simpler and lighter seeders for sowing. While working at a depth of 3 cm at a fuel consumption of 2 l/ha, the unit grinds plant residues without embedding them deep into the ground. Thanks to this, the soil is closed from direct exposure to sunlight and wind with a mulch layer, which helps to retain moisture.

The front chopping roller avoids clogging, even in the presence of a large amount of plant matter.

A double-row harrow with spring teeth Ø 10 mm levels the soil surface after cultivation and, in the case of work on an uncultivated field, helps to distribute crop residues evenly. Moreover, there is provided the adjustment of a tilt angle and force of a clip of springs.

The rear slatted roller additionally acts on the mulch layer, connecting it to the ground. This help to avoid soil erosion and accelerates the mineralization process.

If necessary, the cultivator can work in any configuration: without the front chopper, rear roller and spring harrow.

Instead of the tines with corrugated disks can be installed tines with lancet shares with a working width of 410-430 mm, which allows for continuous tillage, mechanical weed control and tillage to a depth of 18 cm.

Optionally (for an additional fee, by prior order of the consumer), such cultivators can be installed as:

• tines with tines for continuous soil processing;
• front roller-chopper.
