Harrows with spring tooth ZBR

Harrows with a spring teeth ZBR series «Zebra» are produced by our company according to the design documentation and technical specifications of OAO «Tochmash» (Donetsk), taking into account all the changes made by the developer based on the results of the operation of the units in various field conditions. ZBR harrows have proven themselves for many years of reliable operation in Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Spring tooth multi-purpose implements are characterized by simplicity, high reliability and a fast-payback period, minimizing the use of herbicides. These harrows are indispensable in every farm, using any agricultural technology, and can process up to 300 hectares per day, with a minimum (from 2 l/ha) fuel consumption.

The main types of processing operations with spring tooth harrows:

- closing of moisture in the soil in early spring;

- harrowing of fallows and shoots for the destruction of weeds in the early stages of development (the so-called «white thread»);

- pre-sowing loosening (to destroy the crust and improve soil aeration) and levelling the soil;

- application and incorporation of mineral fertilizers.

While manufacturing these units, pipes made of manganese-containing, alloyed steel grade 09G2S make it possible to increase the strength of the structure without increasing the mass. Vibrating teeth made of spring wire St 60S2A Ø 10 mm, adjustable in tilt angle, make it possible to perform both high-quality loosening and harrowing of fallows and processing of seedlings without damaging cultivated plants.

Only one machine operator needs to service the unit. It has a small transport width and allows, with timely and competent use, to significantly increase yields and reduce the cost of purchasing expensive chemicals for weed control, which is very important when using herbicide-free technologies for growing environmentally friendly products – this is far from the complete list of features of these harrows.
